Isla is a small village belonging to the municipality of Arnuero (Cantabria, Spain) together with other peoples as Soane, Castillo Siete Villas and Arnuero. Is in the region of Trasmiera.
Located in northern Cantabria, delimited with the Bay of Biscay to the north, the river and the town of Joyel Noja east, the estuary and the town of Ajo Ajo west, and Mount cinch and the people of the Arnuero south. The main economic activity of the town is tourism. In 2004 it had 935 inhabitants (INE). But the influx of tourists means that this figure will shoot in the summer months.
